Speech for 2015
Here is part 2 of Ormiston's speech for 2015. This is the first speech for the history of Ormiston.
There were 9 people in the area where we had to read our speech in front of LH1 (all of them).
First after iBreak 2, we did the roll and we had Habitat Hui which is a Hui that we have on Mondays where we talk about new things and events.
After we went down to our indoor court. The speech readers sat on chairs and the rest of them sat on floor. Ash's parents came to watch us and some of the LH2 kids came too but they left early.
Before, after morning Hui, Mr McNeil gave us numbers that tell us the order we go in, so like if Ash got number one and I got number 2, that would mean that Ash would go first.
We also had a iPad filming us. It felt really weird because the iPad was following us if we had the remote.
When it was my turn, I felt like I could do it. I read my speech to all LH1 students and after, I felt really good. I was happy because it was all over now.
If you didn't know, my speech was about Feelings. It was kind of based on Inside Out.
We then heard who was the first, second and third. Jahnavi (a new student added to our school) came first, Aleena came second and one of the deaf students came third.
I am really proud of them (even though I'm not a learning coach aka teacher) for trying.
Congrats Jahnavi!! Your Oresome!!!
Thank you all for reading my speech blog his week and I hoped you enjoyed!!
