Goggle Expection about Sharks!!

Sharks

My learning from the Google Expection is about Sharks. 

There are many species of sharks that are lowing down because a lot of people kill then just because they kill people. You shouldn't be doing that because sharks didn't mean to do it and after, they are like 'Yuck! That human tastes gross!'. At lot of hunters and mean humans cut shark fins off for shark fin soup. That is one way for a species of sharks to lower. There are many sharks each day that die all around the world and the more they die, the more their species don't exist anymore.

There was many sharks out there that exist and they are unique in their own way. Like the great white. The great white is the the most human eating shark. That is why swimmers have to stand in a under water cage to be able to research them because if they go out, they might be eaten.

Did you know that many sharks are lowering because of human hands? Yes! Humans are the ones who kill them. Shark fin soup! Humans cut the fins! 

After cutting their fins, they just throw the sharks back into the water. Some sharks live but a lot don't live after their fins are cut off. Shark fins and the most important parts of a shark. To us, it warns us if sharks are near and to them, they don't really know because there sharks!

A lot of sharks that don't swim will die. Crazy right! Sharks have to swim because they look for prey and also watch out for their enemies.

100 million sharks are killed each year. That is a lot and you have to think how sharks are. They don't mean to kill you. They are just hungering. Sharks also die from hunger if they don't eat. A lot of other people guess that 273 million sharks are killed each year. That is more that 100 million of them.

Sharks primarily feed on smaller fish but some species prey upon seals, sea lions, and other animals that are mammals. Sharks have been known to attack when they are confused or curious. If a shark sees a human splashing and playing in the water, it may become curious and try to investigate, leading to an accidental attack to the human body in anyway.

Primarily, if people see a shark fin, they would run out of the water. A lot of the times, life guards call out to the swimmers because a lot of the time, swimmers don't see the shark. 

A lot of sharks spawn in beach water. So a lot of people have shark attacks there. 

Baby sharks (called pups) are born with a full set of teeth and are fully ready to take care of themselves. They quickly swim away, even from their mothers who might eat them. Litter size ranges from one or two pups for a great white shark) to over 100 (for a large blue shark and the whale shark).

So there you have it. A shark blog post! Please make sure you don't ever go into the water with a dangerous looking shark like a great white. Please stay safe.

Oh, before you go anywhere, another thing we did at the Google Expection, we also learned about shark habitats and where they lived. We also checked out the 7 wonders of the world. They were awesome. From temples to land and we also used the Google glasses. It seemed like we were there, under the water with the sharks. The whale shark kind of frightened me a bit because it was so big! When it came to under water, it seemed like we were sitting on the ground under water. I was kind of expecting the sharks to be a like a real under water research team there where the sharks move but no. :( Everytime, it seemed like you were there and when we saw the trees, we were sitting on the dirt. Yuck! When it came to the 7 wonders of the world, we were flying in the sky and it was so cool. It was #oresome!
