The V8 Supercars Event!

On Friday, Ormiston students went to the V8 Supercars Event.

We went to see the training and on Saturday was the real race.

We watched the training and we played on the big field.

When the cars came zooming on the tracks, it was so long. Sometimes the cars came and there would be a pop like a firework going off.

We got a really good view and we claimed the tree as ours.

There were 5 students that were able to ask questions to the drivers. The two people from our group was Ash and Taanvi.

We went to see the cockpits. It looked like little houses for cars. If a car had a flat wheel or it needed changing a wheel, they would turned into the cockpits and get it changed. There are trained people that learned to change wheels and help with any problems.

We got posters and we were able to sit in a race car. It was awesome.

The V8 Supercars Event was super fun and I want to said thank you for the learning coaches for making this possible.

Thank you for tuning into my Blog this week.

  1. Hi Jasmine,
I am glad that you had fun. I was glad to arrange it for our school and we were lucky Mr Dyer, Mr Hattie and Mrs Patrick were able to take you. Your post is wonderful. You recount very well and use lots of details in your descriptions- well done.
