Oobleck iExplore

So, Aleena and I have presented our Number System iExplore and I am now working with Mervlyn for our Oobleck iExplore.

If you don't know what Oobleck is, it is a cornstarch and water mixture. The most interesting thing about this mixture is that it acts like a solid and a liquid. When you punch it or put in your finger really fast, it is just like punching a rock. If you put in your finger really slowly, it is like when you touch water, so it acts like a liquid.

Mervlyn and I were interested in Oobleck because we wanted to know how it was discovered, who was the first person to make it and why does it act like a solid and a liquid. We have many more questions but those were our main ones.

Our plan is to let some people have a chance at making Oobleck and asking them what they think about it. Does it feel weird or like slime. All that stuff.

Mervlyn and I are planning to make it ourselves and describing what we think it feels like. I think its gonna feel similar to slime but a lot cooler.

What I know so far is that:
- it acts like a solid and liquid
- the water compounds are a lot smaller than the cornstarchs
- its fun to play with
- it has a putty texture
- it melts in you hands
- there are many cool things you could do with it like put plastic wrap on a beat boax and then put the Oobleck on the plastic wrap and last, turn on the speaker and watch it move around and so awesome things.

Things I want to learn:
- why does it act like a solid and liquid
- what is this type of mixture called
- who first discovered it
- why does the cornstarch and water react this way

There are many other things we want to find out but here are out most interesting thinkings.

I really think this is a gonna be a great iExplore. Its gonna be a blast and hopefully, our habitat is looking forward to what we have installed for them.
